Getting around in NYC Traffic

  • Always consider a possible traffic delay to avoid the stress of being "stuck" in traffic..

Remember to check the floor and complete back seat before you leave the cab.  It is incredibly easy to accidentally leave a  glove, umbrella, phone, wallet.

As double back-up, always get a receipt.

A taxi receipt gives you all the information you need to call NYC's Taxi & Limousine Commission and report your lost property and find out if has been turned in. Sometime's things just sit there under a seat or somewhere else hidden.  And, despite some possible rumors, the truth is that the majority of New Yorker's will give anything they find in the back seat to the driver.  ALWAYS GET A TAXI RECEIPT
Please do NOT under estimate NYC traffic when planning to get from point A to point B via taxi, it can be unpredictable
